Blog: An Inconvinient Truth

An inconvenient truth was a film about global warming. Al Gore lead the documentary by discussing current, past, and future occurrences. Al Gore was able to demonstrate to people what is going on. There was so much information i was not aware of that became very informational to me. All the information was filled with facts, statistics, and graphs showing global warming. Al Gore was successfully able to show to people that change must happen and change must happen now. Al Gore uses his experiences throughout life to show people that global warming is here and global warming is real. Al Gore not only has been successful in creating awareness but also in making people realize that change must occur now. Al Gore used An Inconvenient Truth to showcase global warming and compare and contrast the past environmental changes to the changes occurring in modern day today. Al Gore was able to show that global risking is of the upmost importance.

Week of 5/8 /15

Week of may 8 2015 I've been looking for a new film to make. i have been trying to choose what kind of film i want to make. i am thinking of making a psa because i want to make a fast film so i still have time to make the third film.

week of April 17, 2015

This week our group has been editing our film. we have placed most of the downloaded youtube videos already onto iMovie. we have just been editing it and trying to finish it because sal wants to enter it into the festival.

Most Interesting Person

The most interesting person in my life is Lady Gaga not Valeria. Lady Gaga also known by her birth name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is the light of my life. She has been able to do such within these 29 years of her life. She has built a foundation to help others called The Born This Way Foundation.  She is not only inspiring but she is beautiful. She has done things like create a bracelet when the tsunami hit in Japan to raise funds to send to those people who were in need o f money and other resources. I think Lady Gaga is the most remarkable person I have ever heard of in my entire life. I know i have never met her or known her personally but she influences my life everyday. i think she is so revealing and open about what she's been through and what she's going through that i feel like i know her.

What I accomplished this week 4/03/15

This week has been really good. we have been able to upload our film and being to edit it. we have been able to cut it down into clips and get rid of the unnecessary parts. we have also downloaded most if not all of the natural disaster clips we plan to use. we have everything ready and  i think we might  be filming later next week to get some more kids in our film. in my group is me, sal, ale, and cindy.

what i accomplished this week 3/27/15

my group ale, sal, and cindy. me sal and ale looked for videos on youtube and other sites to include in our video. we are making a video where we ask kids what they want be when they grow up and then we are including environmental videos showing global warming. yesterday we went to go film some kids and ask them the question. the day was pretty successful we got around 10 kids to answer the question. it was kind of hard because we had to find kids who could answer the question and who's parents were willing to let them get filmed.

What Music Means To Me

Music is okay to listen to. It can be fun or depressing. there are many types of music to listen to. everyone has different taste to music is good for that. music an make you happy or sad or cheerful or joyful or depressed or energetic. it can make you feel many varied emotions. music can be god to listen to. it can be a hobby or an activity. it can be many different things. it can be distracting as well. music can be uplifting  as well. it can bring up your mood or make things more exciting. music can be a variety of things not just one. music can be what you make it. i personally like listening to lady gaga. i love her and i think her music is amazing. i also love adele and paloma. i think they are amazing singers and i love to hear there music.

Problems & Struggles

i think some of the problems and struggles students are faced with today are not being heard.  i think many adults perceive students to not know anything or not be old enough to express certain thoughts. i think that there should be people who listen to what we have to say. i think that not being heard leads to things like the columbine shooting because one is not able to express there emotions. i think that holding everything in leads to massive consequences because when you wanna release everything you have to say you don't know how. i think school and life can sometimes be stressful and sometimes adults don't understand that certain things are important to younger people and students. i think there should be people who are willing to listen even if those problems seem idiotic.

My Anti-Drug

The anti drug for would be painting. I love to paint it helps to clear my mind. I think it is a fun activity to do and it can be beautiful. It is really nice to paint and you don't even have to great because it is just for you to express yourself. you can use a variety of colors and different papers to express yourself. it is also a wonderful distraction. if you are really good you can even sell them for money or open up your own little business. it can be a fun thing to do or even a career choice. painting is a great activity to do. i think it is very helpful and can inspire you to become a better person and help others out. also you can teach others how to paint as well. overall painting is amazing and it is a very artistic thing to do.
